Most of us fail to realise the above in current scenario. With our busy schedules & fast paced life, we hardly take notice of what’s going on around us.Whenever i used to venture out in market place or any slum area, i felt pity for the slum people especially kids. I always wanted to stand up & work for them & then came Dr. Neeta Dhabhai,who inspired me to associate with UNFOLD. Currently pursuing Computer Science Engg from IIIT-Delhi, I was assigned a task to do, community work with any of the NGO. It was going to be my first experience ever to actually go out on those dusty & broken roads, where you actually realise POVERTY tormenting lives. Watching the smiles on those innocent faces, you realise that life means a lot more than just the materialistic goods we carve for! The best part being that in process of teaching them, I myself learnt a great deal.Putting up presentations,teaching them the do’s & dont’s, the practical sessions & what not; has always been exciting part of this journey.I have developed a new passion to work for a cause & not for applause, apart from reading, painting & dancing. I, Khushboo, proudly recognise myself as a member of UNFOLD & there’s lot in store for me, to share with the people out there. I’m here to provide support in any form rather than just talking over the matter.We all have this unique gift or special talent to give to others. And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals. Then what are we waiting for..?
