Journey to Roots and Army Public Schools collaborated to organize a significant workshop on women’s safety and health at B.P. VIDYAPEETH SCHOOL in Rajrai Village. Two distinguished speakers graced us with their presence today in this awareness workshop, enlightening at least 70 women and 30 young girls about health, hygiene, and women’s safety. We were honored to have the founder of Journey to Roots, Atmiye Erum, and Anuradha ji from Army Public Schools, AGRA, among us.
Advocate Namrata Mishra eloquently discussed the crucial topic of domestic violence and advocated for taking action against it, supporting other women, and understanding the repercussions of false accusations. She emphasized the importance of family and seeking familial support to resolve disputes before resorting to legal aid.
Dr. Arunima Singhal from Unfold foundation agra provided invaluable insights into various health issues such as menstrual hygiene, anemia, pregnancy care, and postpartum care. She dispelled myths surrounding menstruation and provided guidance on when to seek medical assistance for women’s health concerns. A big thanks to our speakers for taking out there valuable time for the workshop.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Principal Kavita Dubey of B.P. VIDYAPEETH for her commendable efforts in gathering such a significant number of women for this workshop.
